BCA is organized and professionally produced by its two co-owners and founders: Matthew Diaz-Caldwell and Ward Billeisen. Both members maintain an active role in day to day operations, which include operational and production management.
Together these individuals with their well diversified backgrounds and experience will effectively provide the competitive ballet dance community with an innovative dance competition.
As a trailblazer in the dance competition world, BCA stands out for its meticulous attention to detail and seamless organization. We're committed to hosting events that are not only fair but are also exemplary in their execution and judging selection and criteria.

Matthew Diaz-Caldwell, a visionary leader in the dance industry, brings over two decades of unparalleled expertise and dedication to his role as Co-Owner and Founder of Ballet Championships of America (BCA). Matthew's journey in the dance industry began over two decades ago, marked by a passion for cultivating creativity and nurturing the next generation of dancers. His steadfast commitment to excellence and innovation has been the driving force behind his previous role as the COO at Kids Artistic Revue (KAR), a position he held with distinction. Matthew’s past experience will play a pivotal role in the strategic development and execution of initiatives that will propel BCA to the forefront of the dance competition scene. His visionary leadership has been instrumental in shaping the reputation for excellence, creating a platform for dancers to showcase their skills at a competitive level.
Beyond his operational responsibilities, Matthew has been a passionate advocate for the arts, recognizing the transformative power of dance in the lives of young performers. Ward Billeisen

His journey spans an impressive 25 years, during which he has infused life into stages across National Tours, Regional Theaters, and the illustrious Broadway community.
